He possesses a remarkable background in swimming and aquatic safety, igniting his passion for ensuring the well-being of others. As one of the esteemed Co-Founders of Syren Symposium, Jacob fervently advocates for equitable opportunities, particularly for underprivileged communities.
Jacob's journey began in the realm of swimming, where he showcased his dedication until the age of 18. Transitioning to become an aquatic manager at SwimRVA, the esteemed venue hosting the Syren Symposium, he continued to make a positive impact. Embracing new horizons, Jacob pursued a thrilling athletic career in competitive baton twirling, seizing multiple national titles. Notably, he represented the United States thrice on the international stage alongside NBTA IBTF and USTA.
In 2018, Jacob delved into the enchanting depths of the sea, donning his first tail crafted by Mertailor. Blending athleticism and artistry from his diverse backgrounds, he embarked on a transformative journey that fueled his desire to give back to the generous community that had nurtured him.
Radiating sheer excitement, Jacob eagerly anticipates the joyful gathering of his fellow Mer-folk, eagerly embracing the opportunity to introduce new members to this vibrant community. Immersed in a sea of positive impact, he finds immeasurable fulfillment.

She possesses an impressive array of certifications, including PADI free diving, PADI OW scuba, PADI Mermaid, first aid, and rescue scuba. Seanna's extraordinary talent has taken her to various locations worldwide, enchanting audiences in diverse settings such as tanks, aquariums, renn faires, festivals, open water, boats/yachts, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and even private birthday parties.
Her remarkable performances have earned her recognition from esteemed news outlets like Fox 5 and Friends, The Washington Post, ABC News, Washingtonian Magazine, News at 4, and the BBC. Seanna's profound impact extends beyond her craft as she proudly serves as the original founder of MMC.
and is also the co-founder and owner of Syren Symposium. With her infectious energy and captivating charm, Seanna is a sought-after entertainer, drawing fans from all corners of the globe, spanning from Canada and Maine to the breathtaking shores of Hawaii.

Meet Mia Weyh, a remarkable water enthusiast whose journey began in 2021 when she earned PADI certifications as a Mermaid and SCUBA instructor. Since then, she has been on a mission to educate students worldwide about water safety. Mia's passion has led her to successfully launch mermaid programs on two different continents, spreading the magic of the underwater world far and wide. When she's not instructing, she travels the country as a safety diver for a professional mermaid performance group, ensuring the enchantment remains safe for all.
Mia's accomplishments don't stop there! Her in-water credentials include a remarkable endurance swimming background, marked by distance and age-group awards, as well as two IRONMAN finishes. As a former Senior Educator at an AZA accredited marine mammal facility, she possesses a wealth of knowledge about the marine life in our global oceans and the challenges they face due to human impact.
Mia's unwavering dedication to safety and her ability to create enjoyable in-water experiences make her an invaluable addition to the Syren Symposium team. We are thrilled to have her aboard and look forward to the wonders she will bring to our event. Let's make a splash together!

Nurtured by the enchanting surroundings of the Chesapeake Bay watershed during his formative years, Christian's profound knowledge of marine biology has become a catalyst for his mission to promote ocean conservation and awareness. His influential voice has resonated across numerous platforms, including captivating appearances as a public speaker and features on esteemed publications such as ABC, CNN, INSIDER, and Comedy Central. Beyond his aquatic endeavors, Christian has left an indelible mark on the film and television industry for nearly two decades. In 2012, Ayesha crafted her very first tail, adorned in mesmerizing orange and gold hues, symbolizing her heartfelt dedication to leukemia and childhood cancer awareness. This beautiful tribute is a loving tribute to her cherished sister, Lakisha. Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology and a minor in Psychology, Ayesha stands as a beacon of knowledge and compassion. Over the past decade, she has harnessed her expertise to develop captivating conservation-focused educational programs and has had the privilege of working closely with diverse marine and terrestrial animals. Currently, Ayesha's passion finds expression in her role, educating clients on responsible pet ownership and providing exceptional care to beloved animal companions at a veterinary emergency facility. Ayesha's love for the environment knows no bounds, and wherever she glides, she spreads joy and illuminates communities with her radiant presence. Jacy Ella Peck (Click for Bio)
Meet Mermaid Jacy, a freshwater mermaid from Ontario Canada, who is a PADI mermaid instructor, an SSI mermaid instructor and a wildlife educator. Mermaid Jacy has a passion for the biodiversity and eco care of the Great Lakes. She works with schools, Girl Guide groups, local communities, libraries, zoos and aquariums to bring education and climate change awareness to children. Mermaid Jacy has been mermaid swimming on behalf of Many Hands Doing Good, a local charity that helps move children through traumatic events using the arts and swimming for Sick Kids Hospital raising funds to build a new hospital. Mermaid Jacy has been the receiver of awards and recognition for mermaid and education excellence; from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums of Canada and her home Town of Brampton Ontario for her mermaid performing arts. Now as the sitting secretary for Freedive Toronto, Mermaid Jacy has been helping rebuild the Freediving community in Toronto Canada and advocating for mermaids and safe diving practices. Mermaid Jacy is very honored to be part of the Syren Symposium Committee as an International Mermaid Representative on the Committee Board.
